Mark Brabazon SC

Mark is an experienced tax advocate and advisor, representing private and government clients at all levels from planning and investigation to final appeal. He has particular expertise in international taxation and the taxation of trusts. He also has a broad practice in commercial, equity and public law and general appellate advocacy, and is recognised as an authority on the law relating to legal costs and regulation of the legal profession.
Mark is the chair of the Council of Law Reporting for New South Wales and the Costs and Fees Committee of the New South Wales Bar Association. His professional and academic writings have been published in the Australian Law Journal, Australian Tax Forum, Australian Tax Review, New Zealand Journal of Tax Law and Policy and other journals. Some of his recent work is available on SSRN and in the Sydney Law School Research Papers Series
