Mark has been acclaimed as one of Australia’s leading Senior Counsel in the areas of major construction, engineering and infrastructure litigation and international arbitration. He also has extensive experience in a wide range of complex commercial and equity cases at trial and on appeal in State and Federal Courts throughout Australia.

Regularly briefed in technically challenging and highly complex disputes across Australia and the Asia Pacific region, Mark has represented a broad range of government and leading corporate clients in billion-dollar and multi-million-dollar disputes. His expansive practice has seen him appear throughout Australia, as well as in Singapore and Fiji.

During his three decades in practice as a barrister, 14 years as Senior Counsel, Mark’s clients have derived great benefit from his extensive experience in litigation, arbitration (international and commercial) and mediation. He is highly commended for the strength of his advocacy, the depth and breadth of his legal knowledge and expertise, and for his ability to achieve optimal results for his clients.

Mark also practises as an Arbitrator (he is a Fellow of CIArb and ACICA) and mediator, domestically and abroad.
