Melanie is experienced in acting in commercial, insurance and intellectual property matters and practises in the NSW Supreme and District Courts and in the Federal Court of Australia.

Melanie has acted as counsel on a wide variety of matters for clients including ANZ, Baulderstone, Tenix, AMP, QBE and Morgan Stanley and is noted for her commercial approach to running and resolving disputes.

Prior to coming to the Bar, she worked as a Solicitor and Senior Associate at Clayton Utz for 8 years where she gained experience on large high profile matters and smaller commercial and intellectual property disputes.

Melanie has also lectured in postgraduate and undergraduate courses at the University of New South Wales and at various legal conferences.
