Mark advises and represents a diverse range of private and government clients in tax, commercial and equity cases.  His practice covers all stages from planning and investigation through ADR and trial litigation to final appeal.  He holds a PhD in international tax from the University of Sydney.  He is the author of  International Taxation of Trust Income (Cambridge University Press, 2019) and numerous other works on Australian and international tax.

Mark has broad experience in civil litigation.  He has particular expertise in legal costs and the regulation of the legal profession.  He also practises as an arbitrator.

Mark is the chair of the Council of Law Reporting for New South Wales.
