Simon was called to the bar in April 2014, after spending 4 years in tax litigation at King & Wood Mallesons, where he worked on tax disputes in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Federal Court and the High Court.

He accepts briefs in all areas of commercial law, but has particular expertise in taxation (both Commonwealth and state), administrative law, commercial/equity, and corporations and insolvency.

Before commencing practice, Simon worked as a senior adviser to a previous NSW Attorney General and Minister for Justice.
