Lindsay Muir


Lindsay accepts briefs in all areas of law.
Before coming to the Bar, Lindsay was a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills in its disputes team. She had a commercial litigation practice including class actions, contractual disputes, competition law, administrative and public law and regulatory investigations.
Before that, Lindsay was a prosecutor at the Office of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and gained experience in a complex multi-accused Commonwealth criminal prosecution. Lindsay started her legal career at Whittens & McKeough (as it was then known), a boutique law firm in Sydney with a strong commercial litigation practice.
Lindsay holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales (with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney. Lindsay’s scientific training has proven useful in cases involving technical elements.
