Overview

Rohit accepts briefs in all areas of civil law.

Rohit maintains a broad commercial practice specialising in complex litigation, and has particular experience in insurance matters, building and construction matters, and equitable claims.  

Rohit regularly appears both led and unled, and has appeared unled in the Supreme Court of NSW, the District Court of NSW, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and various lower courts and tribunals.

Before being called to the bar, Rohit was an Associate at Minter Ellison in Sydney, where he worked on a wide range of commercial matters including insurance disputes, representative proceedings, and liquidator’s actions.

Rohit holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction) from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Laws from Columbia University Law School (James Kent Scholar).

In 2017, Rohit was the Associate to Justice Jacqueline Gleeson, when Her Honour was a Justice of the Federal Court of Australia.
