Simon Lees


Simon has a broad practice in commercial litigation, with experience in contract, corporations, equity, insolvency, insurance, taxation (both Commonwealth and state), and real property proceedings.
He regularly appears unled in hearings in the Federal Court of Australia and the NSW Supreme and District Courts, as well as other courts and tribunals.
Simon has an advice practice, providing tax opinions to private and government clients, and he is also regularly briefed in urgent interlocutory applications such as injunctions, freezing and real property orders.
Before Simon was call to the Bar in 2014, he worked for a number of years in tax and commercial litigation at King & Wood Mallesons and as a senior adviser to a previous NSW Attorney General and Minister for Justice.
