Simon Lees
Simon was called to the bar in April 2014, after 4 years working in tax and commercial litigation at King & Wood Mallesons.
Simon has a broad practice in commercial litigation, with experience in contract, corporations, equity, insolvency, insurance, taxation (both Commonwealth and state), and real property proceedings.
He regularly appears unled in hearings in the Federal Court of Australia and the NSW Supreme and District Courts, as well as other courts and tribunals.
Simon has an advice practice, providing tax opinions to private and government clients, and he is also regularly briefed in urgent interlocutory applications such as injunctions, freezing and real property orders.
Before commencing practice, Simon was as a senior adviser to a previous NSW Attorney General and Minister for Justice.
